The trip to RMNP was held on Saturday,
September 24th, 2011 -- Check back in 2012 for the next
trip to RMNP!
Trip to Rocky Mountain National Park
Come join us for a trip to
Rocky Mountain National Park to see the
fall colors of the aspen trees, and hear the elk bugle!!! We are
planning a picnic lunch, an easy hike, time for elk
viewing and supper together.
LIMITED SEATING!!
Please REGISTER by Thursday, 9/22/11 if you are coming, so that we
can plan for transportation and food!

WHEN
Saturday, September 24th, 2011 10am to 7pm
WHERE
We will meet at the parking lot that is directly south of south
Aggie Village

We will drive to the Estes Park information center and stop for a
break.
After that we will go into Sprague Lake for a picnic lunch and a short easy hike. Then
we will go to an elk viewing
area and then have supper together in Estes Park, before returning home.
COST
$5 per person to cover gas.
 $5
for supper.
WHAT TO BRING
FOOD!! for lunch--we will eat picnic style.
-bring your own plates and utensils if needed
-bring pre-cooked food--no cooking fires available on site
WATER for yourself
Camera (and binoculars if you have a pair)
Coat & warm clothing, hats and gloves (because it is cooler in the
mountains)
